This electric minivan wants to make you love MPVs again

This isn't really energy-efficiency or home-upgrade news, but here's what's happening: Renault has unveiled a concept electric minivan called the E-Space, shown at the Paris Motor Show. It's a modern take on the automaker's Espace minivan from the 1980s, sized similarly to the Kia PV5 passenger van and VW ID. Buzz. Renault is pitching it as an alternative to SUVs and sedans.

The concept has a low-slung body, a fully glazed cabin with a glass roof, and double-hinged rear doors leading to six individual rotating seats. The second row can swivel to face the third row, and the interior includes a console with a small fridge, an air purifier, game controllers, and a board game. There's also a large curved display across the dashboard and a compact steering wheel using steer-by-wire technology.

Renault has not said whether or when this concept might become a real car you could buy. For now, it's a design exercise meant to show the company's thinking on future electric family vehicles, not a confirmed product.

None of this affects home energy upgrades, rebates, or equipment choices — it's purely a preview of a concept vehicle from an auto show.
