Sol-Ark launches residential inverter commissioning app

August 7, 2026 · Solar Power World · Score: 26

Sol-Ark, a maker of hybrid inverters (equipment that manages solar, battery, and grid power in a home system), has released a new mobile app called the MySolArk Installer App. It's built for the professionals who set up and configure these systems, not for homeowners to use directly.

The app walks installation teams through the setup process for Sol-Ark residential systems, covering things like connecting components, checking hardware, configuring battery and grid settings, and running final checks before a system goes live. It also lets installers keep records across multiple job sites and generate reports documenting how a system was set up.

For a homeowner, this doesn't change equipment costs or add a new product to shop for. It's a behind-the-scenes tool meant to make installations more consistent and better documented. If you have a Sol-Ark hybrid inverter system installed, or are getting one, your installer may use this app during setup, which could mean clearer records of how your system was configured and its settings. The app is available now for iOS and Android, currently works with Sol-Ark's residential hybrid inverters, and support for commercial systems is planned later. Sol-Ark says the app was built in the US and stores data on US-based servers.
