Segway Navimow X430 robot mower $2,249 in Labor Day Sale, EcoFlow Monthly Madness power station flash sale, Worx, EVs, more

This roundup is mostly deal news for outdoor and backup power gear rather than energy-efficiency upgrades, but a few items may interest homeowners shopping for home equipment.

Segway is running a Labor Day sale on its Navimow robot lawn mowers, with the X430 model down to $2,249, close to its lowest price yet, and other models starting at $669. EcoFlow has an August "Monthly Madness" flash sale covering three portable power stations, a dual-fuel generator, and two EcoCredits promotions starting at $1, plus a separate 24-hour deal on the 1,024Wh DELTA 3 Classic power station bundled with a 45W solar panel for $499. Worx also has a cordless electric hedge trimmer at its lowest price so far this year.

Portable power stations like these can serve as backup power during outages, and some pair with solar panels for off-grid charging, which may appeal to homeowners who already have or are considering solar. None of these are whole-home energy-efficiency upgrades or tied to any rebate program, though — they're standalone product sales on mowers, trimmers, and portable batteries. If you're weighing a home energy project like insulation, a heat pump, or electrical upgrades, this particular roundup doesn't affect that planning; it's more relevant if you're in the market for yard equipment or a backup power source for your house.
