Publish Your Book Through CleanTechnica Press
This one isn't about home upgrades or rebates. A clean energy news site called CleanTechnica is launching a publishing arm, CleanTechnica Press, and is now taking submissions from authors writing books about clean energy or sustainable business. The site's founder has just put out his own book through the new imprint and is opening the door for others to do the same.
Writers interested can submit a pitch through the site's contact form, describing what their book is about and why it fits. If the publisher is interested, they'll ask for two sample chapters and a marketing plan, including how the author would promote the book. Only one book will be published this fall, so most submissions likely won't be selected. Authors who are chosen would pay an upfront fee of $3,000 to $5,000 for design, printing, and distribution, plus a share of each book's sales.
There's nothing here about home energy upgrades, incentives, or rebates. If you're weighing insulation, a heat pump, or other efficiency work for your house, this piece has no bearing on that decision. It's relevant only if you happen to be writing, or thinking about writing, a book on clean energy topics yourself.
