Lexus reveals 2027 TZ prices start under $65,000, with up to 315 miles of range
Lexus has confirmed pricing for its first three-row electric SUV, the 2027 TZ, which goes on sale later this year. The base model, the TZ 450e Premium AWD, starts at $64,050 (including a $1,550 delivery fee) and offers up to 253 miles of range. Two more trims arrive in early 2027: the TZ 450e Premium Touring AWD at $72,050 with up to 315 miles of range, and the top TZ 450e Luxury AWD at $80,550 with 279 miles. All versions come with all-wheel drive.
For context, that puts the TZ above the Hyundai IONIQ 9 ($60,555) but below the Volvo EX90 ($78,090). It's built on the same underpinnings as the upcoming electric Toyota Highlander and Subaru Getaway, but Lexus says it has tuned the suspension and body for a more refined ride. The SUV can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 35 minutes on a fast charger, and it uses the NACS plug, meaning it can charge at Tesla Supercharger stations without an adapter.
If you're weighing an electric SUV for a family that also wants solar or a home charger down the road, this gives a clearer picture of what a three-row luxury EV will cost and how far it can go on a charge. The size is similar to the Hyundai IONIQ 9 and Volvo EX90, so it's worth cross-shopping range and price against those if a three-row EV is on your list.
