Hyundai is offering a 10% discount on the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9 EVs
Hyundai is cutting prices this month on two of its electric SUVs, the IONIQ 5 and the larger three-row IONIQ 9. The IONIQ 5 gets a 10 percent discount, about $3,500 off its $35,000 starting price, and the IONIQ 9 is discounted up to $7,000, also over 10 percent off its $58,995 starting price. Both vehicles are built at Hyundai's Georgia plant.
For those who lease rather than buy, Hyundai is advertising a 2026 IONIQ 5 SE Standard Range for $339 a month on a 24-month lease with $4,999 due at signing, offering up to 245 miles of range. A longer-range version goes for $369 a month with up to 318 miles of range. The newer 2027 IONIQ 5 has smaller savings, up to $2,750, with leases starting at $369 a month. The IONIQ 9's base trim leases for $419 a month on a 36-month term with $4,999 down, rated for up to 335 miles of range.
Hyundai is also offering low-interest financing instead of a lease: 0.9 percent APR for up to 60 months on the IONIQ 5, and 1.9 percent APR for up to 60 months on the IONIQ 9. These deals come as the federal $7,500 EV tax credit has ended, and automakers are using their own discounts and financing offers to keep electric vehicles affordable. If you're cross-shopping, Hyundai's sister brand Kia is currently offering up to $10,000 off its own three-row electric SUV, the EV9.
