BYD says demand is ‘booming’ for the new Denza Z EV as global pre-orders top 1,000
This news is about a new electric supercar, not something that connects to home energy upgrades. BYD's luxury brand Denza just launched the Denza Z, an electric supercar with three motors producing over 1,500 horsepower, and the company says pre-orders have topped 1,000 units globally in five days.
Prices start around $192,000 in the UK and about $100,000 in China, depending on trim (Coupe, Spider, or Racing). The car can go from 0 to 62 mph in under 2 seconds and its battery can recharge from 10 to 97 percent in about 9 minutes using an 800-volt fast-charging system. Range runs between 236 and 254 miles depending on the version. BYD expects to start deliveries by the end of the year.
There's nothing here about home energy efficiency, rebates, or upgrades — this is purely automotive news about a high-performance electric vehicle aimed at a small luxury market, not a household product or program that would affect your home or utility bills.
