Burchda Y3 AWD — Powerful, Long-Range, All-Terrain Electric Bike
A new electric bike on the market, the Burchda Y3 AWD, is aimed at riders who want power and range for off-road use rather than commuting. It runs a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup that peaks at 5000 watts, hits a 40 mph top speed, and can climb steep 35-degree grades. A 52-volt, 30-amp-hour battery gives it up to 100 miles of pedal-assist range, and the battery pops out so you can carry it inside to charge instead of plugging in the whole bike. It has full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and 26-by-4-inch fat tires built for sand, snow, mud, and rough trails.
The bike can carry up to 400 pounds, including racks or gear, and comes with an 800-lumen headlight and handlebar mirrors. It currently costs $1,199, includes a two-year warranty, and ships free within the United States.
This is a product announcement, not a policy or rebate story, so there is no program or incentive tied to it. If you are weighing an e-bike purchase for trail riding, hunting trips, or other rough terrain rather than everyday street use, the specs here — power, range, tire size, and price — give you a concrete point of comparison against other e-bikes you might be considering. It does not affect any home energy upgrade or rebate program.
