This one is about a new electric SUV, not a home energy upgrade, so it won't affect your house or any rebates. Worth noting only if you're car shopping: BMW's new 2027 iX3, its first electric SUV built on the new "Neue Klasse" platform, is now arriving at dealerships starting at $61,500, with an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles. Deliveries started early in the US due to strong demand.
BMW is offering a $500 loyalty discount for anyone who buys or leases the new iX3, whether or not you trade in an existing car, and the discount can be used by other household members. It can be combined with a special 4.99% financing rate for 60 months. There are no special lease deals yet, and BMW's own estimator puts a base lease around $861 a month for 36 months with $4,999 down.
For comparison, the iX3 costs less than the Porsche Macan Electric, which starts at $80,300, but Volvo's competing 2027 EX60 P10 Plus starts slightly lower at $59,795 and has cheaper lease offers. These automaker deals are set to expire September 30. None of this involves home energy rebates or efficiency programs.
