Array Technologies surpasses 100 GW milestone, reports record $2.5 billion order book in Q2

August 6, 2026 · PV Magazine USA · Score: 18

Array Technologies, which makes the mounting systems that let solar panels tilt to track the sun at large solar farms, reported strong second-quarter 2026 results. The company posted $342.1 million in revenue, up 53% from the previous quarter, and a record $2.5 billion order book. It also passed a milestone of 100 gigawatts of trackers shipped worldwide since it was founded.

This is a utility-scale solar story, not a story about home solar equipment. Array's trackers are built for large solar farms, not rooftop systems, so the news doesn't change what's available for homeowners installing panels on their own house. Still, it's a sign of continued growth and investment in solar power generation broadly, including new products like a tracker designed to handle sloped or uneven land and a pending acquisition of a cable-management company to round out its offerings for solar and battery storage projects.

The company raised its profit outlook for the year, now expecting adjusted earnings of $210 million to $230 million, while keeping its full-year revenue forecast at $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion. For the third quarter, it expects revenue of $310 million to $330 million, with activity picking up in the fourth quarter as projects clear site and permitting delays.

None of this affects individual home energy upgrades or rebate programs directly. It's a snapshot of how the utility-scale solar industry, which supplies power to the broader grid, is performing financially.
